If we can get off the personalities and around to the Word, this'll be fun. But first I will say that I love all of those guys and find little to agree about with their critics. Ok, Tim, here's your chance to call me a heretic.

Not sure who you're referring to here, but Peters has discussed Hinn, Copeland, Duplantis, Dollar and a few others in his subsequent posts. (is it too much of a lightening rod to add the Twin Cities own Mac Hammond? He and Copeland are side by side on pretty much everything). There isn't anything to dispute about the falseness of thier theology is there?

I know if I ever come across their programs and watch for a few minutes I don't recognize anything that could even start to be construed as Biblical, (or it's very few and far between) and most of it just completely outrageous as Peters points out.

I am 67 years old and have been involved in Faith Movements all my life. I have also been involved at times with main line churches because I have moved around the states in my work. But what you are teaching here is new to me. I have never heard a sermon on "Positive confession with-in real "faith" churches. I have heard many on living our life tight to the scripturies and letting God have His Way in ours. I have never heard a sermon on the "Little Gods doctrine. I have read about it in many of the "New Age books I have researched over the years though. "Revelation Knowledge" is there for anyone who will become a "student" of the bible and apply its teachings to their lives. God in His word tells us how He wants us to live our lives, not how we think we should live them with out Him. "Health and wealth"? We don't teach that all belivers will have all prayers answered. Answers come from God the Father and we must ask of Him and not be upset with Him when the answer dosen't go our way. And true "Faith Belivers" don't teach that the "wages of sin is Hell," we teach that the wages of sin is "death", total seperation from God forever. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Justin,

I have no doubt that you are honest, sincere, born again, and have been hurt. That doesn't mean that this crusade isn't ill advised and ill conceived, especially in its accusations against individuals. Please consider Brian's point, and, if you believe Scripture is being misapplied, explain how and why we should divide it differently.

Instead of twisting the words of WOF preachers, i wish Mr. Peters would address the scriptural basis, the actual verses in the bible the WOF preachers use to justify their doctrine.

So true. That is great that Justin Peters is a new contributor here. I am glad he is getting the truth out on the WOF teachings.
