Jews have celebrated Passover for literally thousands of years dating back to their time of departure from Egypt. What were some of the elements of that first Passover? A removal of leaven from the home, a spotless lamb, a blood sacrifice, a “passing over” by the angel of judgment, and a time of remembrance.
Notice any similarities from the original Passover to the events surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ? The “types” of that first Passover were pictured and fulfilled by Jesus Christ during Passover week thousands of years later.
In Hour 2 this Saturday, Todd Friel, host of Wretched Radio, will show us the awe-inspiring comparison and fulfillments of the original Passover to the ultimate Passover involving the “Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.”
