Do you know specifically what your primary spiritual gift is? If you answered, “What’s a spiritual gift?” or “I have never really thought much about it” then this weekend’s program is for you.
A spiritual gift is “an ability given by the Holy Spirit to every believer at spiritual birth to edify other believers in the body of Christ and enable them to grow into maturity.” And a Christian’s spiritual gift can be put to use outside the church too.
It’s not an overstatement to say that identifying and using your spiritual gift (or gifts) is one of the most important things you can do as a Christian. The Bible lists three categories of spiritual gifts — speaking, serving, and sign — with a total of 16 individual gifts under these categories.
Dick Johnson, founder of Chapter and Verse Ministries and Bible teacher of Open Bible Hour, will join us this weekend and next to explain each of the gifts so you can identify and start using yours inside and outside the church. Also, be sure to download and take the Spiritual Gifts Self-Survey that will further help you discover your spiritual gift(s).
Finally, all of next week’s program (Saturday, March 26th from 8-9am CT) will be devoted to your questions and comments. Please email your questions this week to feedback@TheChristianWorlview.org or leave a voice message at 1-888-646-2233.
